That does sound fishy. Of course, we only have Fox News's word that the book (which won't be released until next year) will be "pro-Obama." She moderated the VP debate in 2004 as well and I don't remember it helping John Edwards much.

The McCain campaign is doing a good job of keeping expectations at rock bottom for Palin. (Well, she's doing a pretty good herself on the rare occasions they put her in an unscripted situation). If she just shows up with a pulse and her glasses some are going to say she did OK.
