It may be that since the UT is a closed system that Microsoft can't use a bot to get message statistics. They'd have to be gathered by each of the MVP leads and they may not feel like going through that level of effort.

From my perception, it seems someone over there decided to cut off the Universal Thread from the MVP program and I was not even advised. If that would be the case, this would turn out to be one of the worst decision Microsoft would have ever taken against one of the greatest community site ever created. From what I have seen, no one using the site on a regular basis have been renewed. That also includes me. We have people here answering hundreds of messages per month and they have completed been ignored. This is not making any sense to me.
