>>>>That does sound fishy. Of course, we only have Fox News's word that the book (which won't be released until next year) will be "pro-Obama." She moderated the VP debate in 2004 as well and I don't remember it helping John Edwards much.

>>>>The McCain campaign is doing a good job of keeping expectations at rock bottom for Palin. (Well, she's doing a pretty good herself on the rare occasions they put her in an unscripted situation). If she just shows up with a pulse and her glasses some are going to say she did OK.
>>>
>>>Perpetuating the bias of the agenda driven media are we? :o) Let's just add to it some more:
>>>
>>>http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/7459946.stm
>>>
>>>So is Mr Duyet implying that that Senator McCain lied about his treatment at the Hanoi Hilton?
>>>
>>>"He did not tell the truth," he says.
>>>
>>>"But I can somehow sympathise with him. He lies to American voters in order to get their support for his presidential election."
>>>
>>>The "Hanoi Hilton" is now a museum - containing McCain's flight suit
>>>But Mr Duyet's propaganda-perfect version of events is impossible to verify - and should be treated with caution in a country where the Communist authorities still keep a tight control over the media.

>>>
>>>I cannot believe they interviewd him but havent' done a thing to interview or investigate those involved in all of the Obama scandals and what about Biden's story of being shot at in Iraq? Clinton sure didn't get a free pass...

>>I have no idea what your point is. But what exactly are "all of the Obama scandals"? Would you like to name ONE? It's all innuendo and guilt by association. Lame.
>
>I should have written 'the aledged scandals surrounding Obama.' They've all been listed too many times here already to repeat. We won't know if there is any real substance to any of them since no real investigation has been conducted and the media is pretty much hands off. They could all be bologna, we don't know. But my point is that the media is spending an inordinate amount of time researching any possible scandal for a vp nominee while they leave the other vp nominee and the other PRESIDENTIAL nominee alone. That is not journalism.

Do you think Fox News, to name one, hasn't been digging hard for dirt on Obama? Or that they wouldn't run something passed to them by Republican oppos if they could even halfway verify it? The concept of Obama being treated as untouchable is laughable.

I am glad you added the word alleged. That would have made it clearer the first time.
