Can't you get more information from the holder of the data? Who owns the files? Were you given the files to convert? Do they exist in a backend or are they local files? The only file types with a .DF1 or .DF2 extension type that I am aware of are Omnis files. Omnis has many versions too. If you have the windows version of Omnis, there is an export data option under utilities. The files could be exported to dbase format in the past. I don't know what version you have but if a customer has Omnis, you could have them export them for you to dbase format or CSV.
