Cyprys practice US habbits in this respect. People prefer 'driving into shops' (where applicable) rather then 'going shipping' {g}
There is no public transporation system as in the rest of the Europe, instead bus and shuttle lines are franchised to private sector which due to above habbits barely runs it... I drive chilldren to school every day. Even if they were enough school and public buses I don;t believe much would change. People would still do the same. We are in already in that critic 2.5 cars/family stage.

Just wander how traffic would look wih all those windmills attached to the back of the cars {lol}
