I was just in the car for a couple of hours and was trying out some new XM radio stations (new to me) and one I stopped on for quite a while was a conservative talk station. You know how you pass an accident and don't want to look, but can't help yourself? It was like that. The show was G. Gordon Liddy's show, except he was off today. "The G-Man," his substitute host, a woman, kept calling him. There was no falloff in the anger department. My favorite part was when she said something in passing about "Obama, back when he was a street thug and paid troublemaker." Priceless! Someone called in about that, saying he was an independent, undecided voter from New York state. He said I've heard a lot of things said about Barack Obama but haven't heard that one; can you elaborate? She hemmed and hawed -- probably gesturing madly to some aide in the studio to "Give me something here!" -- before finally saying she meant his community organizing. "Everyone knows those are just shakedown operations," she said. The caller asked who was paying him. "The government," she said. "Look at some of these bills and look at the money for groups like Acorn, who are being paid to do nothing but go out there and cause trouble." Now what music station could possibly have been this entertaining? LOL
