Hi Matt,

Somehow I missed your message and its been a while since I logged into UT. I know your response goes all the way back to April but I thought I would go ahead and respond anyway. I am in the process of learning MM.NET (C#). I already have my MCAD without writing a single line of .NET code. It was my OOP skills from VFP that got me through the .NET "Boot" camp in California. However, when I returned, I had a major VFP project and never was able to get back to .NET. I'm about to purchase the MM.NET framework because I've had the most success using good OOP frameworks that not only help me learn faster but cut my development time. I just started a month ago getting into MM.NET. I know even frameworks have somewhat of a learning curve, but Kevin has done an outstanding job with the Developer's Guide, it has even made that easier. I learn very fast having gone through other programming language changes (Clipper -> Progress, Clipper -> VFP).

Anyway, I hope that answers your question. I need to check my profile to make sure I'm receiving and e-mail when my threads have a response. Anyway, still looking for a good MM.NET shop where I can continue to learn and grow into a solid .NET developer.

Thanks,

>>If your company is looking for a developer to join your team or if you know of a company in the OKC or Dallas areas using MM.NET that is looking for a developer, please let me know.
