Starts with:
"Paul Newman, who died last week, took a carefully guarded secret to his grave — something that would have disgraced him in Hollywood."
Then:
"The statement received almost no attention in the press."
So, according to this article (assuming all this crap is true)
1) Paul Newman took his secret to the grave. Of course it was such a secret that he hosted a dinner, he put advertisement supporting his big secret in his racing cars and then publicly supported a nuclear plant. He really knew how to keep a secret
2) If somehow, after all his efforts to keep his support to nuclear power, this would have became public, he would have been disgraced in Hollywood. Of course when this finally happened (some sort of miracle I suppose), then nobody freaking cared
