Winfred, the underlying idea is that you have to get into the Access object model and create the MDB via COM. Then you can use that very same connection to create and populate the tables. If my (admittedly) ancient solution works for you, great. But you probably want to take a step back and treat this as an Office automation issue and wrote new code.
