>>>Anyone know how to convert a dbf table to MS Access? This table has memo fields that need converting also.
>>
>>I do this monthly in Access 2007. I open MS Access and start a new blank database and then I click on External Data, ODBC Database, Import Source data into a new table in the current database, machine data source, Visual Foxpro Database, in the configure connection window I choose free table directory and click on the browse button to select the directory with the tables, (you can pick a database if you choose visual foxpro databases (.dbc) but I don't do it that way because I just want the tables), and then click on OK. It brings in all of my VFP tables including memo fields.

>that for the most part worked. It looks like alot of records didn't make it so I will try again!
I've never had any records skipped in the import process so I've never researched what may cause that.
