No I don't know why, I just requery whenever I change the rowsource by habit. I do this because the combo and list have two rowsources, one is where they get data from and the other is their internal list. When I change the rowsource that the data comes from by habit I requery so the internal list will be updated.

Most of my lists and combos have a rowsource of none anyway and I use the requery to addlistitem the entries.
