On the major highways here (the 401 for instance) the speed limit is 100kph, but most people regularly drive between 110 and 120. That means that passing requires 130 easily. In fact you'll see people just driving in the passing lane at that speed. I've heard a lot of people refer to it as the
fast lane (which it isn't - it's just the passing lane).
