>I've developed an application that makes use of a rich text box activex control. The app works fine on all users pc except two which are using the same operating system as everyone else and is setup with all the same dll's and ocx files as the other users. These two users get an error "OLE error code 0x80040154: Class not registered. OLE object is being ignored. Record number 132." I tried registering and un-registering and re-registering the dll's and it doesn't help and I've not been able to find anything on the web that was helpful either. Can anyone tell me what all possible causes for this would be so I can run through all of them till I find one that works? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The RichText editor itself is implemented in the separate DLL which is a part of the WIndows. The RichTx32.ocx is just an ActiveX wrapper. Take a look at Overview of rich edit control versions and About Rich Edit Controls.
