I know of three people who were defrocked as FoxPro MVPs, then reawarded later. So, it does happen.

That is true. Both Barbara Peisch and Andy were MVPs in 1996 and then they were defrocked in 1997. Andy was re-awarded every year since 1998 and I think Barbara was re-awarded, droppped again and is now receiving the award again.
