Every line in TXT files is ended with CRLF.
So you could put in one line very big nuber of chars.
But when you VIEW that file you should turn off Word Wrap or other option depends of what you use to view that file.
Also if there is CRLF sometwhere in the char fields of your table that could also split the line to two (or more) lines

The only thing normal about database guys is their tables.
