>I don't know if it makes a difference, but doctors also need to follow AMA (here in US) standards and have a license. Peer recognition has long been an established practice in the medical field. I'm not saying you're wrong in your opinions that the MVP process needs to be more open. I would like to see a more open process. But at the same time, I support Microsoft's right to run the program how they want.

My contributions for the last 1 year prior to the award:
-Founded Norther Delaware Dot Net User Group
-Published in Code Magazine
-Publshed tech articles on a couple of websites
-top 100 answerers on MSDN
-spoke at 4 user groups
-spoke at 13 Code camps (Boston, Fairfield, Ct, NYC, NJ, Philly, Pittsburg, Baltimore, Reston, Richmond ) in the spring and fall schedules.
-attended Mobility Metro in Seattle
-delivered train with local DE for Mobility Metro in NYC, Philly and Reston, Va.
-sit on regional leadership council for MS events and affairs.

This is not posted to say I'm better than anyone or better than Craig. My intent is to let you see a pattern develop that leads to selection as MVP. Notice the similarity in the different kinds of activity.

John
