>>>>>>ACORN as in NUTS. Now we have a national conspiracy where these democrats are trying to steal the election, and the Ds aren't saying a thing. Obama was an ACORN lawyer and "organiser". It seems every time there is election fraud, particularly with illegal registrations, dead people, felons, etc. it's the jackass party at the bottom of it.

>>>There is nothing to debate here. It is not the message (which might be correct or biased), but the intention of the message. You have a long history of expressing your disapproval of anything the D's do, and losing touch of reality and perspecitve.
>>>
>>>There is no use in debating this.. no-one will be able to bring you to any other conclusion that the D's are the source of all evil.

>>Untrue, they aren't the essence of evil, just one of the main ingredients. Believe it or not, I've worked for some Ds in the last few months, just not one that had a good R running against them. I would never vote for a D against an R on a national level, because of the Ds wacko positions.

>I read something interesting last night that I had not seen before -- an article about the resurgence of the Democratic party in the western states. Not the ones along the coast but up and down the Rockies. Did you know you can travel from Mexico to Canada and not go through a state with a Republican governor? The south is completely gone but the Democrats have offset it in the west. States like Colorado and New Mexico were solidly Republican just a few years ago.

>Have also been seeing some projections of Congressional races next month. Your party could have major minorities in both chambers.

George W. Bush carried Colorado in the 2004 presidential election, but the state voted Democratic on the rest of the ballot. Part of that is the huge number of Californians who have relocated to Colorado over recent years and frankly, Colorado has always been a blue state in my mind. 1992 was the last time the state went Democrat for a president though. It's still mostly blue in everything except presidential election and Obama has a slim lead there. I think it will be 100% blue this election. I was actually surprised at all the elections since 1992 going Republican. I've always known it as a blue state (my experience living there, my family still there, and my acquaintances there). When I go to Grand Junction (Boortzland), it is filled with Obama supporters everywhere on the streets. It is even more evident in the mountain towns which no longer are generations of rural types but transplanted Californians. :o)

I think Colorado can be considered in the Dems pocket. What surprises me is why on earth Wisconsin is considered a 'weak Democrat' state. There is no question it will be blue this election, as it always is...

I stand by my Obama landslide victory statement... Obama 343 McCain 184 , not even close.

(Although wasn't Kerry or Gore (can't remember which election it was) 11 pts ahead per the polls at this point in the election?)

If Obama doesn't win (although completely unlikely), I think there will be people marching in the streets and riots, etc...
