It was on BBC America. Then they had a 7 episode marathon of Season 2 on Sunday. It was a nice surprise because this year I've been disappointed in the schedule on BBC America. There's nothing worse than watching American shows on BBC America (like Dancing with the Stars) or the types of shows I don't enjoy here either (like Top Gear, Dragon's Den, Super Skinny Me, Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares (we have enough of those on 4 or 5 channels already)). I've been catching some British shows I enjoy on UNC-PBS instead (like New Tricks and The last Enemy) I think there are fewer episodes on British tv because the season sure seams shorter!

>How'd you see the Brit version - was it on BBC America or did you get some region 2 dvds?

>>I watched it last night. It was the first episode. I shouldn't have watched the UK version because now I already know the story line. In the first episode at least, it follows the UK version closely. The UK version was pretty good but I didn't watch all episodes. I tend to enjoy British mysteries more than American ones in general. I did watch the last 3 in sequence though so I'm hoping the US version doesn't have the same ending or it won't be a surprise. All in all, it was still pretty good. I think the US version has alittle more drama and action to it then the UK version (or at least the first episode did). There was alittle humour to it as well. There was a definite 'American spin' to it of course. I enjoyed the sights and attitudes of 1973. Strange to see it again. You might want to catch one episode and see if it is any more interesting to you than the UK version.
