Yes.. it does help... But, it also shows me that this is not 'supported' you have modified the framework to apply it.

Which I don't have a problem with. Just nice if the framework did or supported something like this cause 'I' think it would be a popular option.

I would like to see it taken even a bit farther with a database that has all the paths to the various directories with a description next to each.

Also... how would this extend to remote data? Isn't the DSN name stored with the remote views? Hmmm... I'll have to look into that.
