I've not really thought on this but the examples of mosquitoes I've seen on telly have been, say, round the side of a liquor store, or newsagents, where undesirable yoof muster. With this lot, AFAI'm concerned, a noise that made their ears bleed would be OK. :-)
Funny thing about the human body, sounds and age. When I was a teenager, loud bass on club music used to thump me in the stomach. Now it doesn't but I feel it resonating in my chest. I guess it gets absorbed now by the extra cushioning :-)
