I have tested it with no luck in Grids. Even in a non-modal form the Menu option is disabled (grayed). The keyboard short cut will not work either. If you bring up a Form & Browse together the Find dialogue box will only be active when a Form is not active. This leads me to believe Find is not active during Active Forms -- period.

I guess it's the old 'manual search routine' time when a form is active (search button).
