It is good that you are completely sober. It makes my task easier, and reply is definitely required.
I am not aware what kind of relationship you have with John H. or John K, etc. Maybe they are your old friends and it is permissible in your narrow circle trading jabs. However, I am not your friend, and I am not looking to become one, therefore certain casual expressions can be easily perceived as personal insults. I don't think you would appreciate if I reply in kind, especially because your way of talking too much and exposing intimate details of your private life could subject you to very rude handling.
