Hi all

doing a part-time gig and have a minor (rapidly growing towards MAJOR) problem.

Moving a website from one web server to another and currently it sits on the testing server. Running with the legacy MSSQL 2000 DB, the opening page comes up, but with errors. Any attempt to log in or register as a new user goes nowhere.

When we change the web.config to point at the new MSSQL 2005 server, we get the 'Error in '\' Application' message, with it's lovely "if you want to see details set this code in your config file" where it will do absolutely nothing at all.


I've run out of things to try - so I'm looking for most any suggestions where to look.
