Well, admittedly, I don't really know much about him, but I did read about the Abscam stuff, and I didn't think he came off all that badly. He may have been leaving his options open, and perhaps if the sting had been carried on longer, he'd have done something stupid, but as it stands, I think that "taking money from the Arabs" maybe puts a bit too uncharitable a spin on it.
