Well, since you mentioned religious humor, here is one. It is not related to children, but it is related to my religion, the Bahá'í Faith.

Background: Grown-up Bahá'ís are supposed to fast once a year - no eating nor drinking from sunrise to sunset, during several days.

During the fast, a certain Bahá'í went to the market, and - among other things - wanted to buy some grapes. As is the custom over here, the lady who was selling the fruit invited him to taste those grapes. He tasted one, then remembered that he was supposed to be fasting... and spat it out. "What, you don't like them?" - "Oh, they are delicious. Please sell me 1 kilo."

>(If you don't like religious humor, then disregard. They are very cute though)

Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
