For demos I have never found anything better than Macromedia Director. This is a standalone product however and so you'll have to go through the learning curve...and it doesn't come cheap. It's the industry standard for demos. Check them out at
www.macromedia.com.
Of course, you could also use powerpoint. It all depends on your budget. While you could make a demo with VFP I think it would be pointless.
