OTOH, even with someone with loads of experience, you can never know whether the previous history is any guide as to what the guy may do once in office. Pattern of behavior may be some guide, but only as to what one may do while having a boss and biding his time. Once in office, he may just start thinking "ah, NOW I CAN do this!"... Whatever it may be, it wasn't in the biography, because then he couldn't.
