I asked this before but got no definitive answer. Here I am - another job, location and version of VFP but still the old problem haunts me:

Sort of late in the afternoon, or early evening, when I use the combos, especially in a method window, the combo freezes, the hourglass appears and I have to wait for it to settle down before I can make a selection. This happens particularly when I'm moving up the combo, pushing the scroll bar thumb up.

I can usually free it by selecting another window then coming back to VFP, but it's so annoying.

And once it's started happening it continues to do so far too regularly.

Anyone else observed this phenomenon, or is it just li'le ole jinxed me?
