In your opinion, when you do have direct access, is it better to do the Copy or just a Rename command.

I use the rename command because if there is a failure i can recover from it. With the Copy, I sometimes do not error out but the file is not copied to the remote site. I am not sure what is really the best.

Thanks for your opinion
