Thanks Terry the REQUERY() is helpful but it requeries the entire view and that takes a long time. It would be nice if I could REQUERY just the changed rows.
>Chris: I'm not to capable with SQL Server, but once you update the original tables through tableupdate shouldn't you requery SQL-Server to obtain values that SQL Server is itself creating. The values you change in a VFP cursor are held in your table buffer and do not change unless you cause it to happen either by coding(ie.. Requery SQL Server) or by direct user intervention.
