>So the hocky mom from NY was 'offended' by that news? How is that offensive? The wardrobe cost seems to be pretty much in line with all the other well-dressed candidates on the slate. The only difference is in the source of the funds.

I didn't attach much importance to what the hockey mom from New York said. It just floored me how much money they spent on outfits for Palin. If you told me someone went out and spent 150K on clothes I would have thought of Imelda Marcos or a Rockefeller or something. Not someone goin' around talkin' about what a regular gal she is, ya know?

Not that it wasn't their right to do so. This was money spent by the Republican National Committee. If anyone has cause to complain it would be people who have donated to the McCain campaign, and that sure isn't me ;-) Besides, I think they have easily gotten $150,000 worth of value from Sarah Palin's appearance....

Probably no one will believe me but I did not post that as a partisan shot. It just amused the heck out of me and I thought others might get a laugh, too.
