Exactly, a timer is what the help file says. It is wierd... I will try it later today and let U know how it works out. I really do not want to hide the first screen. i wuz wondering if this is part of the problem. I found some example of modal forms calling modal forms and in all cases the first form is hidden. Well, I will hack it out tonite. Thanks! Steve
