Another good point. This thread has really been based largely on the VFP grid. It would be as unfair to judge all grids by the VFP grid as it would to judge all beers by Budweiser. One example is the idea that editing in grids is a bad idea. I always try to avoid editing in the VFP grid, but I love to be able to edit data in a grid (as in Quicken or Outlook, e. g.).
