I have inherited an app. The form controls are all bound to form properties rather than table/view/cursor fields. When the user clicks on Add, the code wants to set all of the properties that the controls are bound to to their Default/Initial Value. Needless to say the code does not work.

Sounds like I need to look at the type of the individual form data properties. If a property's Type is character set it to "", if it is numeric set it to 0, etc. Worry about the exceptions later.
