That article was written back in 2005 which was a long time ago. If you are using VFP 9 SP2, along with code from 2005, that could be a contributing factor in the problem. Many classes in the _ReportListener class library of the FFC changed in SP2. If Lisa's class is based on any of those, there could be some clashing now that you are running it in SP2. She may have code that doesn't use NODEFAULT in some of the methods because it wasn't necessary back then. But with the SP2 classes, the NODEFAULT may be needed. I recommend you go through every method of her class looking for missing NODEFAULTs.
