Because, everytime I have speced a job, and then been overridden by others and forced to use Dell, the job has been a f***ing headache, peformance issues, weird lockups & freezes requiring bios, driver & component updates/replacements.
The equipment is built to a price, not a recipe.
My reply these days if asked to use Dell is, fine go for it, but don't ask me to install or support it.
I just stick with Intel components, you install with very few problems, and virtually never return.
You get a good name when all your clients associates Dell equipment is constantly playing up and your doesn't.
