Check out the Acer Aspire 8920/8930 18.5" WUXGA notebooks. Not as huge and heavy as the 20" HP behemoths but the larger screen makes it easy to work at 1920*1080 all day without strain. Note the 1080 resolution figure- that's to match 1080p and it's slightly lower than a normal WUXGA monitor. FWIW I've used Dell 17" WUXGA notebooks since they first were released and would recommend one of those as a close second.
