Yes. We haven't quite shaken off the ties to the queen and she likes it that way. Of course, most of us do whatever we want. Most of the programs I work on, we use mm/dd/yyyy unless specifically requested to do otherwise.
You'll notice that Michel does it the 'correct' way - yyyy/mm/dd.
