This would be the relevant clause, I think:
you agree . . . that the Redistributables only operate in conjunction with Microsoft Windows platforms...I thought that clause meant that you agree that the redistributables were not written to run on other platforms (ie - that they only run on Windows platforms) and that if there is a problem, then it's your problem. Otherwise, wouldn't it have been written as
you agree . . . that the Redistributables may not be shipped to be run on platforms other than Microsoft Windows platforms. At best, it's ambiguous - which is usually a good thing from the point of view of the party that did not draft the contract.
