When I drop just a field from the DE table onto a form the class is getting used, but if the whole table is dropped all column control types default to textbox.

Kim:
It's a bit awkward: In the Properties window, I select the default text box that I want to trade out for a combo box. When the text box is highlighted, I click on the target column in the grid. Then I press Delete. VFP asks if you want to delete the control--Yes. Then I go back into the property window and highlight the target column. Finally, I select the desired control from the form control toolbar and click in the target column. It finally appears, all by itself!

If anybody out there knows an easier way, I'd love to know it.

Thanks in advance.
John
