http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2008/10/obamas_closing.htmlI haven't seen the 2nd ad but I've seen the 1st ad (look behind you) numerous times today alone.
I heard on the news today that 1/3rd of all registered voters have cast their vote already. With long lines every day, I'm wondering how the remaining 2/3rds will be able to all vote on one day this Tuesday.
Update: That number may have changed but not publicized yet. I heard on the local news that it is estimated that as many as 38% of all registered voters voted early in my county and in some counties that number is as high as 42%.
The NC SBOE has on its website for registered voters as 11/02/2008:
Democratic: 2,860,556
Republican: 2,000,360
Libertarian: 3,546
Unaffiliated: 1,392, 209
Total: 6,256,671
However, it is important to note that people don't always vote for the candidate of their party in the run for President.
Early votes in NC don't get counted until 11/4/08 with the votes cast on that day.
