If you're lucky enough you could make a conditional buy. Have the seller install Vista but give you a ticket that will give you Windows 7 when it's released. Many did it for Vista downgradeable to XP.

By the way I've got two installations of vista. One that is not so great on my laptop and one that I really like on my desktop. Perhaps my laptop version is not as good because I installed the RTM version on it.

Laptop version is 32 bit. Desktop is 64.
