>>>I haven't heard 150K, other than from you. I did see an ad yesterday narrated by Obama himself saying 200K. That's still a pretty high income.
>>>
>>>First of all, whether or not 200K is a pretty high income is a matter of opinion. Andy and I have an income higher than that and we do not have any children amd we do not have enough money to live extravagantly. I think that for a family with children, 200K is probably adequate - not high. However, the point is that Obama cannot keep his story straight and give a consistent answer to one simple question. Now we know that politicians all embroider the truth, but most of them wait until after they are elected to change their stories.

>>Yeah, well, enjoy his presidency, Marcia. Who knows, maybe he will be in office long enough for you to stop bragging about how much money you make.

>???? Take a breather Mike. That was just plain rude. I think after reflection you may realize that Marcia's words were not written as you interpreted them.

My family also makes more than 200K. Currently, we pay mortgage and full college tuiton, and, after all expenses, we still have about 50K for discretionary spending/saving. I have made simple calculations, in regard to O.MG plans, and the result is that in possible new environment we will not have any money left after paying bills.
Basically, Obama plans are good for misfits. Any hard working person, i.e. one hoping to get better living as the result of his/her hard work will come up empty, because every increase in earnings will be immediately 'redistributed'.
