delete the contents of c:\windows\temp
delete the backup of the patches in c:\windows
remove any user profiles that do not use the pc
delete the profile temp folder contents and the internet files
uninstall any apps that you don't use/need
try a defrag and see if it releases any room
Move all your data to the new drive, perhaps uninstall apps on c and install again on D
move the pagefile to new drive, will release room and also speed up the machine
