I just visited a friend in Nicaragua who run a mission there. They want to use QB to do their accounting (now they are using Excel but it provides little in the way of reports ets), however QB does not print checks in Spanish. Anyone know a better accounting package that will allow one to print checks in Spanish or any other ideas how they can use QB.

I was thinking that they could export the payment and payroll data and then write a small program in VFP that would print the checks, but I would need an algorithm to print the amounts in Spanish.

On the way back to Managua, I got in the middle of an FSLN political rally. Ortega had just been on TV railing against the USA, but said he liked missionairies as it was the poor people of the USA trying to help the poor people of Nicaragua. So we came out OK.

Any words of advice would be appreciated.
