>>>Why does EVERYTHING have to be turned into us vs. them? Believe it or not, veterans are admired by liberals as well as conservatives. We all owe them a debt.
>>>
>>>Maybe those who are going to vote for Obama see things differently than you, rather than simply being wrong. Have you considered that? I agree with something Charles said yesterday -- the President will be everyone's President, and we should all want him to succeed. I know if McCain wins I will be behind him. It would be nuts of me to want him to fail.
>>
>>Keep in mind too that in the opinion of those who continue to whine about the possibility of Obama winning, Canada is a socialist country. Strangely enough, we have all those same rights. How that could possibly be is a mystery.

>Oh, sure, you say that on the public forums so the Mounties don't kick down your door and send you to the Gulags in Manitoba ... (if you make it across the Lake we can give you sanctuary in Ohio where church groups [and taverns] shelter Canadians )

Are you kidding? Don't you remember the Canadian who almost drowned after falling out of his boat in the Niagara River and washed up on the American side only to be arrested for illegal entry into the U.S.? Sanctuary, hah! ;)
