Makes sense, but I think most of it is irrelevant in this case. I'm not activating any forms/windows during this process. The code in question is in the Select button on a form that displays the results of an SPT query; the user selects a record to work with and this method launches the edit form. Obviously, the user can have multiple instances of the edit form open (as well as various other forms) but they shouldn't be able to have the same record open twice. Looping backward isn't a bad idea and shouldn't slow things down, but above all, this code needs to be fat-free :-)
