Hello Naus,
What you mentioned is perfectly right but here i wish to add something.
1. using sys(3050) sets the memory usage.
2. Three tier client server architecture i.e. implementation of ur data, application, business logic makes a bigger difference hence a perfect posting is required.
3. Defragmentaton of your hard-disk
4.Using fast network adapters.
thanks

>The speed of an application depends on a lot of factors. Multi-user versus single user is one of them. If you run a VFP application in a single user environment you can open all your tables exclusively, meaning faster. In a mutli-user environment you have to open everything shareble, to be able to share tables between users.
>If you think an application is slow in a multi-user environment because the database becomes slower you can try creating indexes where needed, etc ...
>If you are in a client-server environment you can try speeding your app up by using a faster server machine, ...
>If you need a definite solution a more specific description of your application is necessary.
