It's all based on exit polling. In the case of Maine, exit polls shows Obama would win. In other states, while one candidate may be ahead, the media doesn't make a projection because exit polling either wasn't clear or the counted votes favor candidates in one area of the state while the exit polls in another favor the other candidate.
>So, I look at Maine and it says that there are 2 votes for Obama and 1 for McCain and there is a check next to Obama's name indicating he won the state. I'm looking at other states and the numbers just don't make sense either. Why have such a slick tool if the results are screwy?
