Its interesting how long a handover period you have. Here the Prime Minister would be on their way to see the queen this morning and the leader of the majority party would be seeing the queen a couple of hours later to be invited to form a government. Its used to be the PM would get dropped off by the official car and almost have to make their own way home as they weren't PM anymore and so not entitled to the car.
